The new PrintChecker is able to run in either single or twin stream, and uses vacuum transport belts with no upper transport belts that restrict the view of the camera.
Differences in colours, printing and foil stamping, as well as spots and typing errors, compared to a scanned master, are recognised and ejected or collected for further inspection.
Kohmann claims the machine is ideal for the control of packaging material for industries such as the pharmaceutical, tobacco and cosmetics, as well as for high quality food packaging.
