Industry veteran Johs Huseby has joined Alchemy Bicycle Company as its new vice president of sales, the company announced Monday.
Huseby brings more than 12 years of experience in sales and product management for both Cannondale and Pedro's.
Huseby started in the bike business in his native Vermont, where he worked and then raced for the West Hill Shop in Putney. He crossed the state to attend Middlebury College before moving to the Boston area in 1998. After five years at Pedro's and two years as Cannondale's outside account manager for the Boston area, Huseby relocated to Connecticut when he became Cannondale's mountain bike product manager.
"I was looking for a new experience and wanted to work for a smaller company and have always wanted to live in Colorado," Huseby said. "For Alchemy, I will be in charge of sales and working with the existing dealer network and expanding our presence in retailers across the U.S. and abroad."
