Michigan-based National Bulk Equipment, dry-material handling systems firm has purchased makers of the ProductSaver packaged material reclamation systems, General Processing Systems.
General Processing Systems' former president Jeff Swiatlo would now be heading the sales activities of the ProductSaver.
According to National Bulk Equipment president Todd Reed, the packaged material reclamation enables processing and packaging operations to recover surplus contents from the packaging materials, and portions that might be mislabeled.
"The ProductSaver product lines provide two primary advantages for processing and packaging operations. ProductSaver systems reduce process material loss levels, beyond what even inline systems can do. And, ProductSaver systems are recognized for making significant contributions to sustainability scoring initiatives," added Todd.
The equipment completely separates reclaims the contents and recovers the packaging for recycling, the firm said.
NBE portfolio includes bulk bag fillers, bag dischargers and container dischargers.
